So you've been hearing me harp about LinkedIn this... LinkedIn that and how it is THE place to be seen for your business... But if I haven’t guided you through the simplest of things – getting your company onto LinkedIn, there is no justice now, is there? Come on then, let’s quickly ascend to our throne of recognition without much ado!
By the way, this isn’t way different from setting up a profile. But, since it is a company page, it just requires more caution on what you put up here – know this, people remember you by face and your business by what’s promised and thereby delivered.
First things first, you as an individual need to be present on LinkedIn to create a page for your business! Simply go to Interests, then company and click 'create' – easy peasy! Now, the next few steps require time, patience and of course intelligence (it’s a tough thing to crack customers you know)...
Too busy?: I have mentioned in my earlier blogs, this generation of technology allows you to be online even if physically you aren't online! So here too you can schedule posts (using tools like Hootsuite etc), experiment with when your updates can be posted (this may require little time initially to find which period is good to get shares on your posts) and also check notifications periodically!
Well, hoping I have covered most ground on this. LinkedIn itself offers an easy read on company pages – do check when you are setting up your page, there's a lot more assurance when hearing it from the horses' mouth!!!
Was this helpful to you? Will you let me know?
